Privacy Policy

Yo-Ho-Boom! · Last updated: 16 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Yo-Ho-Boom! (the "Game") handles information. The Game is developed and published by STEFF WORKS (Vadim Eff, an individual developer based in Cyprus) ("we", "us").

1. Information we do not collect

The Game has no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos, and we do not use your precise (GPS) location. We do not run our own servers that receive your personal data. The third-party services described below may receive device data directly from the Game, as explained in sections 3 and 4.

2. Game progress

Your progress (level, gold, fleet, upgrades, settings) is saved only on your device. Deleting the Game or its data removes this progress. Gameplay events (for example, which level you started or finished, how long it took and why a battle was lost) may be sent to our analytics provider as described in section 4, but your saved game itself is not uploaded.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and your interactions with ads. Google processes this data under its own policies:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. Where this choice is required, you can change it at any time using the “Privacy choices” button in the in-game Store. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

4. Analytics and install measurement

To understand how the Game is played, improve it and measure which advertising campaigns bring new players, the Game uses the following third-party services. They may collect device identifiers (for example, an app-specific device ID and, where you allow it, your advertising identifier such as IDFA or Google Advertising ID), IP address (which can indicate your approximate country or city), device model, operating system, language, app version, install and session information, and in-game events such as levels started, completed or failed, time spent and in-game purchases. They do not receive your name, email address or contacts from us.

Where the law requires it (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), this data is collected only after you give consent, and you can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Privacy choices” button in the in-game Store. Events from before your decision are sent only if you consent; if you decline, none of these services receives data. On iPhone, your advertising identifier is shared only if you allow tracking in the system prompt (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

5. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We only receive a confirmation that a purchase was completed so that the item can be delivered in the Game.

6. Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will help remove it.

7. Legal basis (EEA/UK users)

Where the GDPR applies, personalized advertising, analytics and install measurement are based on your consent, and non-personalized advertising and fraud prevention are based on our legitimate interest in funding and protecting a free game.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, you can contact the services directly using the links above, or simply email us at support@yohoboom.com. To request deletion of data linked to your device (step-by-step instructions: yohoboom.com/delete-data.html), email us with the subject “Data deletion” and, if you can, your device’s advertising ID; we will pass the request to GameAnalytics, AppsFlyer and Meta. You can also stop data collection at any time by withdrawing consent with the “Privacy choices” button in the in-game Store or by uninstalling the Game.

9. Changes

If we change how the Game handles data (for example, by adding new analytics, crash reporting or advertising partners), we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
